Come and help implement the beginnings of the new permaculture plan for a fairly blank-slate in Fawkner (near Coburg). We'd love your help to:
*build a chicken tractor
*prep the ground for a windbreak
*prep a large vegie patch and start planting
*clean away weeds and unwanted plants/hedges, etc.
*sledgehammer an ugly concrete ?thing?

Here's the directions:

5 Kiddle St, Fawkner.

TRAIN: Take the Upfield train to Fawkner station, then head due East along Lorne St. Kiddle Street is the 5th street on the right.

BIKE: cycle along the Upfield bikepath next to the railway line all the way past Merlynston station, then through the back streets until you get to Boundary Road (massive Police Station). Head right to Sydney Road, turn left into Sydney Road and then take the first right (Argyle St). Kiddle St is the fourth street on the left.

We will be doing stuff all day, so feel free to turn up anytime at all.

We have some tools, and lots of gardening gloves. If you have newspapers, compost, mulch or seedlings to donate, we will gratefully take them! Ditto a plate of food to share.

But also come empty handed, and ready to learn lots!
